About Our Name
In addition to attaining a high level of training and education, we believe the person of the therapist - his or her mental health, personal values, and overall style of being in the world - are among the most central factors affecting change in therapy. As a result, we wanted a name that represented a deeply personal part of each of us. Since our earliest experiences in life are so influential on who we become, we wanted to pay tribute to the places where each of us grew up and where our individual histories were forged. The name of our group comes from a combination of names of the streets where we each grew up.
